Day 33: Field Day

Today was VSA’s 2nd General Meeting: Field Day with FREE BBQ. YEAH. Though I was a little bit bummed because I found out I couldn’t take VSA for units. Basically, I would have been doing what I’ve BEEN doing, but for one or two elective units. Maybe next semester.

After my classes ended around 4:30 PM, Dung and I walked to Willard Park to help Piotr save a spot for set-up. The atmosphere was nice—lots of little kids playing soccer and lots of dogs running around. I didn’t think very many people would come since a lot of people had to study for midterms, but a fairly good number came out. At first, I didn’t talk to many people, but after some prodding from our Mr. President, Jamesuel, I ended up meeting some very nice people. I hung out a bit with Linh and her roommate, Anh Dao, who both happen to live in Cheney, too.

I was only planning to stay for an hour of the actual meeting because I have a paper due tomorrow, but I ended up staying for the entire thing. (I did get about half of that paper done, though.)

XOXO
Gabby
