Thursdays are busy days. I did a lot of running around and
getting work done, but it all slowed down once English class started. It was
more a study hall than anything, and I kind of wanted to just leave since I
didn’t have much to do and there was a VSA social event going on around that
time. We DID get to leave early, and I headed straight for the apartment where
the party was. For a few minutes I was pretty confident in myself, but then the
road kept going and going and going, so in a moment of panic, I called Fujie
(who will forever be my navigator.)
I eventually found the place (I just had to go further) and
had a fun time eating chocolate-covered everything.
VSA is split into three family groups, Koala, Panda, and
Polar Bear (but anyone can come to any event.) Panda family (the one I’m in) is
apparently over-populated with girls, because the description is, “cooking
small things, movies, and hiking.” The girls are very energetic and bubbly, and
it’s fun to be around them. When there was only upperclassmen and myself, we
talked girly relationship stuff. I kinda felt bad for Piotr, who was basically
our cook/man consultant. Around 9PM we left the apartment together and the
girls walked me home (thank God.)
XOXO
