Today I went to my other three classes. Needless to say, it
was a little more daunting. ESPM 15 (Environmental Science, Policy, and
Management) seems easy enough—as long as I do the reading—but English 45A and
History 131B are another story.
I guess as an English major, I can’t escape the boring
prerequisites, but as soon as the professor started reading a portion of
Canterbury Tales, my head was spinning. Also, my goal to get ahead in the
readings is kind of failing since the one required text that hasn’t come in yet
is the first book we’re reading. Bleh.
I got lost on the way to History and ended up 3 minutes
late. The room was packed with people and I ended up in the back, sitting on
the stairs, with no view of the professor. Since there aren’t any discussion
sections, I’ll have to go to office hours a lot (if I don’t end up dropping the
class e.e).
We also had our first Cabinet meeting today. I decided to
actually do something with my Publications position and bring the Cal VSA
newsletter back from the dead, so we’ll see how that turns out.
P.S. SO. MUCH. READING. ARGH.
XOXO
Gabby
